StageComms is a push-to-talk intercom for production crews.
What we collect
Account holders: your email address and display name. Our authentication provider, Supabase, handles passwords. Passwords are never stored in plain text.
Spaces you create: the name, channels, roles and settings. If end-to-end encryption is on, the passphrase is stored encrypted and is only returned to the space owner.
People joining with an invite link: the display name you type is shown to others in the space. It is not stored after the session.
While connected: your voice is sent live to others in the space through our real-time audio provider. Audio is never recorded or stored. Connection quality figures (round-trip time, jitter and packet loss) are shared with the space's admins for troubleshooting.
On your device: your login session, last display name, headset and mixer preferences, and your last session for one-tap rejoin.
What we don't do
No ads, no tracking or analytics SDKs, and no selling or sharing data for marketing.
Service providers
- Supabase: accounts and space data.
- Real-time audio provider: live audio between people in a space.
- Vercel: web hosting and API.
Retention and deletion
Data is kept until you delete it. Deleting a space removes it immediately. “Delete account” (Home → your name → Delete account, on the web or in the iOS app) permanently removes your account and every space you own.
Children
StageComms is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
We will update this page if anything changes.
